As an established brand in the adhesive tapes industries, Helipro Tapes is focused on exceptionally strong forte in OPP tape, masking, acrylic tape, PVC tape, double sided, filament and many more. Throughout years, Helipro Tapes has proved the ability to deliver a broad range of superior quality products and services to our customers.
Having based in Malaysia since our establishment, we view Malaysia as a crucial market as it created a strategic location for us to provide import and export services to our customer in Asia.
ABOUT FOUNDER
Helipro ventured into the Adhesive Tapes business in the year 1987.
Our first office located in Taman Segar, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, which is a shop lot with floor area close to 3,300sq feet, included the basement and ground floor. We started only with 2 operation machines and 7 staffs to operate the business. During the initial period, our sales volume was around 576 thousand sq meters per annum, mainly supply to the Malaysian market.
In year 1998, we moved into our factory in Balakong which is approximately 20,000 sq feet. Helipro is confident that the tape industry is growing fast as the Malaysian economy is also picking up.
With the confident in market growth, Helipro invested 3 more new machines and 12 new staffs to serve the market. We also partner with several overseas importers and exporters to expand our business.
With the support from local and overseas clients, Helipro has grown from strength to strength. In year 2008, our market sales volume increased significantly to 1.44 million sq meters per month.
Helipro started to purchase a double storey new factory which occupies an area over 50,000 sq feet and increased staff numbers to 30. We also added 17 new machines and a printing machine. To date, our yearly output of tapes reached around 34.56 million sq meters.
With this capacity, Helipro offers a broad range of products include OPP packing tapes, printed tapes, masking packing and automotive high temperature masking, colours OPP, double sided tissue, PE double sided foam, automotive acrylic tapes, hard PVC bakery tapes, heavy duty filament tapes, PVC floor marking tapes and floor carpet tapes, high tension cable tapes and wire insulation tapes, polyster fixlon tapes, Teflon heat resistance tapes, security tapes, cloth tapes, aluminium foil tapes and PVC protection tapes.
Nevertheless, we understand that there is no room for complacency. Helipro will continue to improve to expand and to serve our valuable partners that have been long supporting us. Our ultimate goal is to keep on improving on the quality of our services to ensure customer satisfaction, and become a major player in Adhesive Tapes Industry in both Malaysian and International market.
